Ed Fella

I chose this art piece by Ed because of the use of words to make shapes/objects. This is because I have not yet attempted to create with this style. I want to push myself out of my comfort zone and try to do something similar to the style.

In the video, Ed shared the words of one of his students, “I paint so I have something to look at”. This stuck with me because I find myself as an artist always focusing on what others will think of my work. I want to start keeping the mindset that I am creating for myself, and then good if others enjoy it as well.
